“The Science of Palletizing” is an educational introduction to the basics of unit-load forming and is designed to familiarize you with the fundamentals of palletizing.
Since all palletizing applications are unique, selecting a machine to meet your specific needs cannot be done by simply reading this book. However, this information should prove to be
an essential ingredient in the selection process.
This book includes updated information from our two previous publications: “The Science of Palletizing” and “How to Pick the Right System,” and “The Science of Palletizing, Volume Two – Systems.” These versions were first released in 1987 and 1988 and were enthusiastically received by the material handling industry, with over 45,000 copies being circulated. In this edition, we have added updates on the latest trends in palletizing and a section on robotic
palletizers, which are now playing a major role in manufacturing.
